The Iloilo City DRRM Council adopts a structure of people-centered early warning systems that integrates risk knowledge, monitoring and warning service, dissemination and communication, and response capability.

To further support the decision-making of the Iloilo City DRRM Office and Iloilo City DRRM Council members, early warning devices installed in the city are used as basis such as the AWS from Manila Observatory, Weather Philippines, and PAGASA which also includes the PAGASA and DOST Bantay Panahon (Region VI) Websites. Using the established communication system of the CDRRMO, information is disseminated to various stakeholders to provide early warning and trigger early action.

Naga provide ni siya sang milimeter nga datos sang ulan kada pulo ka minuto, isa ka oras, kag tatlo ka oras sa mga lugar nga ara ang sensor. May sensor man ni siya nga maka salapu sang P-Waves kag mag alarma gamit ang warning nga tunog sa mga tawo lapit sa gininstall nga sensor. Below is the early warning sensor donated by NCDR (National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction) through the NRC (National Resilience Council). It provides rain millimeter data per 10 Mins, 1 Hour, and 3 Hours at a certain area where the sensor is located, and it also has a sensor that detects P-Waves and alarms through a warning sound to the people within the vicinity where the sensor is installed. It is located in fourteen (14) barangays, three (3) Iloilo City government buildings, four (4) universities, two (2) private establishments, one (1) fire station, and one (1) police station.
